Webmeji ৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ ৻)

Hi! the beloved desktop pet shimeji can now be shown to everyone that visits your website! As of January 2026, this version currently can do the following actions randomly:

Walk around on the bottom, where it can; stand still, sit on the ground, do a little dance, or trip!
Jump up to the side and/or top edges of the screen, where it randomly decides to hang still, climb, or fall back down!
Play a special animation, when a cursor hovers over it!
Get dragged around the screen with a mouse-click or finger-touch!

You can: give a different appearence to the shimeji by replacing its frames, or add whole new animations and whatnot youself by changing the code! Play around with the frequency of actions, frames, speeds, whatever! make your website a bit more fun by giving it its own webmeji ^-^ Get the files to put webmeji on YOUR website HERE, and find frames of your special character(s) anywhere online!

If I ever update this again, these are features to look forward to: momentum during dragging/falling, being able to get thrown onto edges, ability to place edges anywhere such that they can look to be climbing on your own elements, and a way for viewers to set the webmeji behavior client-side!
